We wanted to inform you that on Friday, March 8th, 2024, we became aware of an issue regarding the delivery of email notifications to candidates and agencies using our platform. Some users reported not receiving notifications as expected.
Upon investigation, on Monday, March 11th, 2024, we discovered that the issue occurred when emails were being received in Outlook (which was blocking messages) from one of the several IP addresses we use to deliver messages on the HirePlanner platform. To address this promptly, we immediately contacted our third-party email delivery service provider, Mailgun, a market leader in this space, to resolve the situation. We requested the immediate cessation of the problematic IP address and asked for the provision of a new, secure IP address to ensure seamless delivery of all future messages and notifications.
On Wednesday, March 13th, 2024, at 1:46 pm, we received confirmation from Mailgun that the issue had been resolved, and email notifications were being properly delivered again.
While this issue was specific to a particular IP address and the Outlook email program, affecting only some users, we understand the importance of timely communication. We remain committed to preventing such occurrences in the future and will continue to monitor the situation closely and implement additional measures in the coming weeks to ensure uninterrupted service.
